The lounge’s sumptuous furnishings invite guests to sink into an overstuffed sofa while listening to lectures by local guides, watching movies, sampling local spirits, or simply enjoying the passing scenery in a temperature-controlled environment. Local entertainment may be offered on selected evenings.

Breakfast and lunch on the riverboat are served buffet-style, featuring a variety of Asian and Western dishes. Multi-course dinners are paired with wine and include a selection of healthy local specialties as well as Western favorites.

The Princess Fitness Center onboard RV Mekong Princess offers modern equipment in a cozy setting with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing passengers to exercise while enjoying panoramic views of the Mekong River. Daily Tai Chi, yoga, and meditation classes are held either in the gym or on the ship’s Bassac Deck. Each guest receives one complimentary one-hour spa treatment at the Princess Spa on the Mekong Deck during the cruise.

The onboard currency is USD ($), though Vietnamese Dong is also accepted. English is the official language onboard, and daily shore excursions with English-speaking guides at each destination are included in the cruise program.

Laptops and mobile phones function along the entire route, although international communications can be expensive. In case of emergency, guests may use the ship’s phone. Wi-Fi is available in the Main Lounge and the library.
